You're eating too fast. Gotta do like I do and put a tennis ball in your bowl.

I like using smaller bowls since the dog drool on the tennis bowls messes with the flavor.

Damn, high school traching me yet another wrong lesson, esf fast and get the fuck out of the cafeteria

There is a lag time between eating and hunger dissipating. Try eating one portion and waiting 30 minutes

Did you forget to hydrate? Drink water when you feel hungry... sometimes you might confuse the signals between them...

Regarding the first point, it's because of the way hunger/satiety signalling hormones work. I'm oversimplifying, but the 'hungry' signal is produced by the stomach, whereas the 'full' signal is produced by fat cells. There's a noticeable lag between the stomach being full and the fat cells figuring that out.

Speculating on the 'why' of this kinda borders on evopsych, but at a guess; when food is scarce, it makes a certain kind of sense to overeat a bit when food is available. Historically this has been the case for humans a lot longer than we've had the relative abundance we have now.

In terms of practical advice, eat slower. Or wait a bit after you finish and see how you feel in 30min or so.

Are you in Poor Interroception Gang? My stomach usually bitches at me after I eat, like you describe.

What? So you're telling me that if I'm not focusing MY ENTIRE MENTAL ENERGY into thinking about the fact that I am currently eating or drinking something, I'm gonna choke and probably die or something?

It's just like this: Me drinking water: "Yes this is a nice cup of water and I am relaxed hmmmm I think I will let my mind wander a bit while I relax drinking this water. Maybe I can think abou-" CHOKES AND FUCKING DIES

Like come the fuck on why is the human body like this. You should be able to fucking tell if something's going down my throat. You do so many other things automatically WHY DO YOU NEED ME TO DEDICATE MY THOUGHTS TO DRINKING/EATING TO MAKE THINGS GO DOWN THROAT WITHOUT KILLING ME GOD DAMMIT

Using the same pipe for breathing and for eating was a bad design choice illegal-to-say

Can't wait until the devs release a new patch to fix this problem
