Maybe we're just really tired

[–] nexguy@lemmy.world 15 points 10 months ago

That's JUST what someone who sleeps in jeans would say.

[–] Imgonnatrythis@sh.itjust.works 10 points 10 months ago (2 children)

Yeah, I can fall asleep pretty much anywhere wearing anything. That being said, unless there's a good reason not to, I fail to understand why anyone wouldn't sleep nude. No clothing is more comfortable than nude, and don't say warmth because that's what blankets are for.

[–] Gork@lemm.ee 2 points 10 months ago

I can usually stand wearing underwear to bed, but not pants or shirt. Naked is great though.

[–] basxto@discuss.tchncs.de 1 points 10 months ago

warmth 😃

During sleep I can’t ensure to be stay covered with a blanket. Though lower half nude would work better than upper half nude. If my arms get cold, I‘ll get ill. With a sleeping bag it might work.

Being able to take advantage of napportunities is a superpower, not a wierdity.

[–] UraniumBlazer@lemm.ee 28 points 10 months ago (3 children)

Sleeping in jeans makes me horny. I'm not even joking. I'm being serious.

[–] RIP_Cheems@lemmy.world 17 points 10 months ago (1 children)
[–] UraniumBlazer@lemm.ee 7 points 10 months ago

You're welcome ;)

[–] lugal@sopuli.xyz 10 points 10 months ago (1 children)

I don't mean this in a negative sense, you do you, but this sounds like a fetish to me?

[–] UraniumBlazer@lemm.ee 10 points 10 months ago (1 children)
[–] lugal@sopuli.xyz 4 points 10 months ago

Thanks! I didn't know the difference

[–] UraniumBlazer@lemm.ee 6 points 10 months ago (1 children)

No idea. The tight/snug + hard-ish fabric probably?

[–] Jax@sh.itjust.works 2 points 10 months ago (1 children)

I don't know how to ask my next question without being crass, but I'm trying.

Whatcha workin' with in those jeans? I ask because all I can think of is pinching and periods of pants tightening uncomfortably.

[–] UraniumBlazer@lemm.ee 4 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago)

Whatcha workin' with in those jeans

Like what do I have down there? Got a dick. But naah, after a lil bit of pondering, it's prolly my chastity kink. I've always liked snug stuff. So I dunno ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

[–] DaCrazyJamez@sh.itjust.works 20 points 10 months ago

I've slept in jeans many a time. Never while sober, though.

[–] ItsAFake@lemmus.org 16 points 10 months ago (2 children)

So it's the middle of the night, your house is on fire, do you really want the firemen to see you in your PJs or a nice fitting pair of jeans?

[–] brb@sh.itjust.works 19 points 10 months ago (1 children)

I sleep naked to assert dominance

[–] ItsAFake@lemmus.org 13 points 10 months ago

Their hose is bigger.

[–] Theharpyeagle@lemmy.world 7 points 10 months ago

As a nude sleeper, I've honestly thought about this. In my head, I have an action plan for grabbing my robe on such an occasion.

[–] SpraynardKruger@lemmy.world 14 points 10 months ago

Nothing like jrifting off into jream land in my jeans

[–] WarmSoda@lemm.ee 13 points 10 months ago

Sometimes you have to sleep in whatever you're wearing, and wherever you are.

[–] TheFriendlyDickhead@lemm.ee 13 points 10 months ago

It all depends on your tiredness and blood alcohol level.

[–] Kolanaki@yiffit.net 11 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Good jeans are like a second skin. You shouldn't notice them at all.

[–] Vej@lemm.ee 12 points 10 months ago

This guy wears skin pants.

[–] hperrin@lemmy.world 10 points 10 months ago

If you can’t sleep in them, they’re probably ill fitting or bad quality. A good pair of jeans that fit well are really comfortable.

[–] A_Very_Big_Fan@lemmy.world 10 points 10 months ago

I used to do this when I was in school so I didn't have to get dressed in the morning

[–] empireOfLove2@lemmy.dbzer0.com 10 points 10 months ago

I am so sleep deprived I can literally fall asleep anywhere. "Sleeping in jeans" doesn't count when it's a 30 minute power nap on one of the cafeteria benches

[–] Mediocre_Bard@lemmy.world 9 points 10 months ago

You guys can't sleep in jeans? From my perspective, you are the weirdos.

[–] MyNamesNotRobert@lemmynsfw.com 9 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago)

I was sleeping in jeans. I sensed a disturbance in the force so I logged into lemmy and saw this. Im going back to sleep with my jeans still on so later fuckers.

[–] swearengen@sopuli.xyz 6 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago)

I was a jean sleeper up till my early 20s. Not sure why, it just felt right.

Now I can sleep in gym shorts or jeans but prefer shorts. Anything less than shorts and REM sleep doesn't happen for me, my body doesn't like having it's guard down that much I guess.

[–] CarbonIceDragon@pawb.social 6 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Jeans are comfy, and I hate the sensation of too much air on my bare legs. And no, the blankets aren't enough, it needs to be pants, and almost all my pants are jeans.

[–] Draconic_NEO@lemmy.world 1 points 10 months ago

I don't own any jeans but I feel very similar and always wear pants when I sleep.

[–] HikingVet@lemmy.ca 6 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Oh man, it's weird to me that people have to be super comfortable to be able to sleep. Have you never been sleep deprived?

[–] ItsAFake@lemmus.org 1 points 10 months ago

I just have to able to stretch out laying down and I'm fine, I've slept on curbs, rock piles even on some stairs once and when I'm drunk I can sleep absolutely anywhere.

[–] ThatWeirdGuy1001@lemmy.world 6 points 10 months ago (1 children)

You can sleep in anything if you're drunk enough

[–] the_grass_trainer@lemmy.world 4 points 10 months ago (1 children)
[–] Corkyskog@sh.itjust.works 1 points 10 months ago

I slept in someone else's room/bed before in college. They walked in, and were also drunk. They apparently thought they somehow lost claim to it, and didn't bother to notify me until they sobered up in the morning.

[–] WereCat@lemmy.world 5 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Then there are people who sleep while wearing boots

Like a real sleep? Or a power nap? I can see myself dozing off at a busy conference. But to fully rest my body, absolutely not.

[–] idunnololz@lemmy.world 4 points 10 months ago (1 children)

I went camping with a friend once when I was younger and he just slept in his jeans. He said he did it all the time at home too. At the time I just assumed it was normal.

[–] JoShmoe@ani.social 2 points 10 months ago (1 children)

So then at the time, you assumed that you weren’t normal?

[–] idunnololz@lemmy.world 5 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago)

Well given any topic, it's possible for multiple things to be normal. Drinking coffee black, with milk, with sugar or with both can all be normal. Normal doesn't have to be just one thing.

I just assumed we were both normal.

[–] pipows 4 points 10 months ago

I slept in jeans once (beer). It was horrible

[–] RizzRustbolt@lemmy.world 3 points 10 months ago (1 children)
[–] ObviouslyNotBanana@lemmy.world 2 points 10 months ago
[–] altima_neo@lemmy.zip 3 points 10 months ago

Thats pretty insane. I can sleep sitting in a chair, but jeans? Damn!

[–] stringere@leminal.space 2 points 10 months ago

What is that art from?
