..... and it was very good.

Wasn't a big fan of Colin Farrell, in either his, or my, younger days, but ever since The Lobster, he really has turned me around. That, this, and the unexpected perfection of In Bruges, that dude can cook.

This take on LA Detective Noir, is just this side of cloying, but it is, so far, really entertaining, with a top notch cast, and a compelling main character.

I'm very much looking forward to more.

I think Farrell suffered a similar sort of thing as Brad Pitt did in the 90s in that he's super attractive...oh and he was in that bad Daredevil movie. Aside from that I can't remember him ever being the reason a movie was bad, and whenever I see him he's absolutely fantastic.

He really is a brilliant actor. Banshees of Inisherin broke my heart.
