Self hosting azerothcore with autobalance module to play with friends. Owning my progress and no fomo makes the game much more enjoyable

There's a neat fork that has player style NPC's that run around the world playing the game. I haven't tried it but there's a lot of wild stuff you can do.

Aww man I'm so jealous. I tried to set one up for my friends and myself but I got stuck with all the weird server software and gave up 😞
