....and Chinese communists, the Chinese Nationalists, the precursors to the NVA and Vietcong, Mexico, the Korean resistance, the Filipino resistance, Brazil, Ethiopia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Haiti, etc.

It's a blind spot in people's understanding of WWII. The Allies was more than just France, the US, UK, and USSR. It included dozens of countries across the world, especially in Asia where the war started.

Seriously though I don't know why they thought a few dozen Abrams would do anything. The US deployed over 2,000 tanks during Desert Storm and that was basically a skirmish compared to what's going on in Ukraine.

Does this mean the US will actually try to create Bolo tanks due to sheer hubris?

I know you're meme'ing but there were good reasons why warfare was done that way for hundreds (if not thousands) of years. WWI completely changed everything we thought we knew about fighting wars. WWII was where the technology of WWI was fully realized with the tactics to go with it.

I seriously wonder if the future of warfare is going to be about who can field the most drones and there are few (if any) actual troops anywhere near the battlefield. Even a little 8" drone armed with a 9mm firearm could be more effective than having a rifleman that needs to eat, sleep, and is at risk of dying. If your drone "dies," it's not an issue because the operator with experience is 100 miles away and just switches to a different drone.

Nations with more manufacturing capabilities and stronger economies no longer have to worry about troops. Their experienced pilots can't be harmed, so they're only limited by how much material they can send out into the field. Casualties become a thing of the past. Even better is you can salvage your damaged drones or even enemy drones. That's something you can't do with people.

Some fuckwad with a transphobic avatar and alt-right shit for their comments was re-posting Agu videos to gather clicks so they could lead people down the pipeline. Reported and blocked the channel, but I doubt anything will come of it.

There's this former cop and veteran who was making Great Replacement videos and doing TV/movie reactions. He's still up and running a year after his blatant copyright violations. Absolutely worthless moderation that can't even do oppressive capitalism right.

The reason I've seen people give for Trump being a communist is "Trump supports Putin and Russia, therefore he must be a communist spy wanting to usher in a communist dictatorship."

This is nonsensical, of course, but the Cold War propaganda brain worms runs deep.

You forgot they're also criminal masterminds who smuggle in thousands of dollars in drugs over the border, kill hundreds of Americans without getting caught, are master engineers that build massive tunnel networks underground, and scam the government out of billions of dollars via welfare programs.

Honestly I wish immigrants were the people conservatives think they are because they'd have an insane set of skills we could use.

I saw some bazinga bros shitting and peeing all over themselves for AI Frazetta """paintings.""" The AI slop had zero understanding of what made Frazetta recognizable. It was nothing but BOOBA barbarian women.

They thought the AI truly matched Frazetta, despite the lack of saturated blacks and da Vinci - style alien landscapes.

Republicans jumping ship isn't talked about enough. Paul Ryan knew to bail before those investigations started about corruption back in 2015ish. I think even more republicans saw Trump throw his own VP under the bus and realized they, too, are expendable. And since Trump has faced zero consequences while everyone around him goes to prison, they don't want to rely on getting a pardon when the party wants them to do something stupid.

Remember when the SCotUS was considering the president shouldn't be convicted of crimes while in office? Biden could have walked up to any GOP fuck and shot them in the face with zero consequences. Yet this power is only being used to not convict Trump of all the crimes democrats are in a frenzy over.
