Multiple countries in Europe are already working overtime to rat-fuck DNS. I'd prefer if euro-leadership remained blissfully unaware of the root DNS servers.

It'd be a shame if someone(s) sent an extra-large Dragon to her house.

No FDA means no one to stop it! 😂

Jeff runs a Home Assistant setup which means he really should have known better. All of the major appliance companies are doing this and it started years ago.

Awful lot of "could", "maybe" and, "one day" in that article. It's neat to see folks in the lab cook up something new but there's a long way and a lot of hurdles between this and a functional chip. Especially one with the +40% performance and -10% power usage that they're claiming.

Dunno about anyone else but I bailed. I made a reservation for a tri-motor version, a reservation I cancelled before the truck was available because Elon started taking Tesla off the rails.

Putting the political horseshit aside I'm very glad that I ended up not buying one. They've proven to be poorly engineered and poorly constructed.

Rust is a conspiracy to bring down wages! Rust is a conspiracy to replace GPL with MIT to gain control of Linux! Rust is a conspiracy to impregnate your dog!

The auto market is global and the US isn't the only place enacting tariffs.

I wish them luck, honestly, but it's tough to compete with American venture capital and it takes metric truckloads of capital to build things like AWS / Azure / GCP. The lack of VC and the lack of unity among the various countries and companies means that any initiatives like this are unlikely to go very far.

It's fascinating how those two things combined have kept European based technology and technology firms struggling for life since the dawn of the computing era. Asianometry has an incredibly informative series of videos about this.

They could reduce their foreign sales.
