I think you're on to something, whats the analysis of me liking rushdown or "zoners" that I use to close the gap and rushdown some more?

I think my two favorite that have stood the test of time are:

I do self-criticism constantly because I’m trapped in a Maoist cult where comrades (white terrorists) criticize me mercilessly for having a fascist credit card (VISA Silver Signature Rewards)

They won’t let me order vegan pizza anymore because the phone is fascist and “summoning my pizza slaves with a bourgeois app” is “bad vibes”

and also

The dive bar at the end of the universe

also seconding what Ideology said, and adding that your description is super similar to me, so feel free to send any questions if that helps. Regarding the paralysis for me I eventually decided to trust in my instincts instead of trying to rationalize everything, but that had to do with how strong my conscious-level self repression was. Letting my emotional instincts open up then let me start recognizing bits of euphoria and dysphoria and start addressing those individually without worrying if they aligned with any kind of social gender i had in mind, which works well for me. Also nice account name, nightshades are my favorite group of plants.

ok so a few years ago i discovered my visual snow isn't just "vision being weird" and its a specific and currently poorly understood thing. Hadn't thought about it for a while, but just this morning while unable to sleep due to stress from being out of hormones (for a few days now), I first realized I heard a faint tinnitus-hiss, then realized I was seeing the usual visual snow, then realized that I think those have both been missing since I started HRT months prior (only noticing its reappearance). definitely an interesting lead for neuroscientists if HRT gets rid of visual snow + mild tinnitus, and I'll post an update when my hormones finally get here.
