The truth is that the belief that the caricature was exaggerated is simply PR. They're actually just as evil as people made them out to be, not less.

Minimalism is for people who can afford to not be equipped to do anything outside of their specific day to day tasks. I can't afford to not have 12 different tool totes for different job types because I can't afford to hire someone to do a job that I could do, so while the space and upkeep costs are higher long term, it allows me to now have to plan for single high cost occurrences. Minimalism is a lifestyle of privilege.

I work because I don't have a choice and I spend my money because even saving 100% of my gross won't get me even remotely close to affording a house because they keep going up in price faster than my income does.
New Mexico's incident was actually in an aquarium, a commenter above posted a link.
Far fewer rats living like they did in the 17th and 18th century nowadays, though. It really feels like one of those things where it's difficult to prove either way since the conditions cannot be duplicated in modern times. I'm still leaning towards more being faked, but not having huge chunks of a population living in 17th century squalor may be a factor in whether or not a rat king could actually form.
I've fixed (and driven) the Sandwich Police cruisers, they unfortunately lack anything worth eating on the inside.

Makes it easier for the next governor to do, so don't let perfect be the enemy of good. I live in a state where I can take a huge amount of these things for granted, but as a result I feel like there's less of a push to change things that are still a problem, so I'm always happy to see Midwestern states making progress because it motivates people in other states to make change too.
Fucken do it then
In the same way a fetus is a person unless the government kills it, a corporation is a person until they get in trouble..
