I used to love them. Really I did. Under iwata the company was truly something special for a while. But as with all companies, the fall from grace has been hard. I don't know a single person with a good opinion of Nintendo anymore. Even a surprising amount of irl people who are not in the know about a lot of piracy and modding stuff seem to at least know enough from recent events that Nintendo are beyond irreparably evil.
This explains why I got a text from my carrier saying all phones now come unlocked. Guess they're preparing ahead of time. Mine was already unlocked, but still.
Taking naps. Watching Hong Kong/ Chinese action films.
If I'm really into a show I am still able to pull a marathon like the days of old.

My teacher in 2019 tried to convey this to us in economics class too. But to this day I still refuse.
I was a neet for a couple of years. honestly with how little I work these days it still feels like I am one sometimes. feels like there's no point in participating when the country doesn't want to give anything back to you.

I worked at a restaurant a couple of years ago and we would just take excess food home still.
This was the worst. I had people I knew in class but generally I've always been considered one of the less important friends to people. So I would watch them all pair with someone they liked better.
honestly it's replaced reddit for me in a good way, because it has just enough new content that I can check it before bed every day and scroll for a bit, but not enough to where I spend entire lunch breaks on it. sometimes I go days without even checking it. if anything it's made my relationship with my browser / phone healthier than reddit.
