Is there a reason to actually like them?

They have an edge with compatibility between all their own products?

UI is ok, but not customizable.

Super expensive compared to alternatives. Upgrades are expensive.

Lack of options and customizability; for a company that spouts "think different", there certainly not a huge difference in design & choice.

Walled garden.

Poor design, cheap components, against right to repair (check out Louis Rossmann YouTube channel). They gaslight their customers.

I care more for stability and low latency, not so much speed.

Offering me a faster cellular or satellite connections doesn't interest me.

I'd actually be ok with this.

And Picard.

Retcon them both.

What's the best way for me to stream to a Samsung (Q70T) TV these days? I use a Plex server, and their Plex TV app (which is hit & miss quite often), but at least it has a nice GUI.

If watching directly from laptop I have Kodi, but have also installed Jellyfin for testing recently.

Except for the fact that I'm constantly reminded that I'm bad for not using Linux.
