The business major... reaps no reward from art and science... thus must weaken us (Art/STEM) to stay ahead

The "fault in reasoning" you describe is saying the same thing: there's no reward from art and science for business majors, so they must instead gain from (Art/STEM) by weakening them. Capitalize on profit and extract reward from (Art/STEM), because business majors themselves, can't extract reward by means of the original process

*** This is not an endorsement of my own opinion. I'm talking out my ass and have no relevant sources to back my statement, nor stake in any claim. Just typing words off the dome and trying to sound coherent for possible discussive-hypotheticals

I use it for news, but I mostly see enough news on Lemmy that I don't have to use it often. I just check it occasionally to see if there's anything different and to help balance my personal bias a hair

RSS seems to have been dying forever, but still persists. I just use a search engine to find the RSS feed, cause it's sometimes impossible to find on the website itself

Edit: and also, I use the "Feeder" app to aggregate the RSS feeds

It's ok, I judge myself too. Continue to judge and boo us, it may give some the extra push to finally quit

Lemmy and RSS feed is all I use. I look at things my wife and 2 others friends will send me on instagram, but I never just scroll through it

What's the deal with rubber ducks and jeeps anyway?

That was my exact thinking this morning as well. My state allows concealed carry without a permit, so I could legally go with my carry... but I thought better of it. I didn't expect any violence where I'm at, and it just seemed like it wasn't worth the risk, being the cause of more harm than good. It kinda went against the spirit of this protest imo, so I left it at home

Fuck it, I'm not that scared of dying that I gotta go strapped everywhere to feel safe. There's a time and place for carrying, and the protest wasn't one of them for me

It's instruments... I can play a little bit of all of them, but none of them very well lol. I just like playing with them

An acoustic guitar, an electric guitar (I had 2 electrics, but gave my dad one with a small amp), 2 soprano ukulele's (in case a friend wants to join), a piano keyboard, electric drum kit, harmonicas, a violin (I got it for my wife, but we both like to mess with it) and... I think that's it. I kinda want a bass guitar one day too, just because it looks like fun

Also a small collection of cacti, and a small collection of amateur radio equipment (as well as other electronics that I like to mess with)

I've got a few years before 40, and I'm 4/4! Finally, I'm ahead of the curve for once
