Started reading some cape shit comic slop during my breaks at work and Millar’s Ultimates 2 is accidentally based? The Avengers are tools of American imperialism who destabilize a country for having nukes but Thor’s a leftist who actually challenges them and opposes the military industrial complex (He was sent to Earth by Odin to end the war on terror lmao). I say accidental because I’m pretty sure the writer is a neocon through and through and the way he wrote some of the characters in the first volume is edgy and cringe at best and reactionary at worst.

I’m so mad one of my coworkers comes a few inches from my face to tell me that he’s “sick as a dog” and that he “was up all night freezing” and “almost didn’t come into work today but fuck it”.
