You're not supposed to ponder the orb retrospectively

I think you're not making the most of what could be a pretty freaky situation

The production of Apocalypse Now was also such a clusterfuck there are several versions, endings, and documentaries made about the making of the movie itself. I think half the hype over it is the fact it was ever released and is a cohesive film

Nothing quite like the simultaneous awe and dread of looking at a construction so gargantuan that you feel like an ant on the floor of a cathedral

Yes, I've played dark souls. This looks cool as hell in it's own way

What are you talking about? I just got here

What about people who shit in jeans?

I'll put train videos on for the kids, but there's so much more going on with a steam train.

Steam is billowing out of everywhere, they're just this massive piece of infrastructure, it's like taming the elements with an unholy union of water and fire - natural enemies in the wild, and you get to feel like a hero because you're helping people get to places.

I put linux on an old laptop for my kids to play with, but I want them to see me using it as well so it's not just seen as a kids' toy.

My plan was to browse the internet on it from time to time, but I don't want to sign into anything like my emails on there.

I've just been completely at a loss to think ofthings to do on this laptop that aren't Wikipedia, news websites, and search.

Is there anything else to do on the internet these days than login and doomscroll?

I just really like having meetings

How does the embodiment of Actually Existing America get any work done when the embodiment of America As A Concept is flying around outside with super hearing?

They found a conservative goths Facebook group a little while ago. And it was funny then, the idea is so stupid.

But they've talked about memes from the group for a few weeks now and they say the phrase 'conservative goths' so casually. It's not even a bit any more, it's just a normal phrase to them.

And that just makes it funnier. The funniest part of the most recent episode was when Alex would just say 'conservative goths' like it was a normal phrase in a normal sentence.

They need to find a new group, I don't think I can take another straight line delivery of conservative goths.

I'm working with a business to sort out all their Facebook and Instagram pages, and try get them all grouped under one Business account.

They're a musical instrument importer who have a bunch of pages that have been created by different people over the years and they've had trouble migrating them all into once place where they can see everything.

They have access to all the pages and Instagram profiles, but some are through a company profile they created, some through the personal profile of a guy that works there, and some other loose accounts.

They've sent requests from the controlling profiles to the account they want to have access to all the page, but the requests are sitting pending in the blackhole of Meta's backend.

They've sent requests, tried to get in touch with support, and even sent over documents proving the existence of the business to Facebook, but nothing happens.

All the help articles that are the first results wherever you search aren't useful either. They don't reflect the messy nature of Facebook tinkering with everything and the reality of trying to share access to pages that have existed since 2007.

I'd love to hear if you've had any experience with this. If I can get this sorted out it should mean more work for me down the line with them.

Just beyond your team?

Let me know, I might say it some time
