i hate insurance so much/surgery
Was just given a final ‘decision’ after multiple appeals and meetings with a lawyer that I have to pay for my ffs out of pocket.I specifically paid to get on a decent insurance plan while planning out this surgery and it turns out that due to opaque laws, they have an exclusion for all “transsexual care” in my plan. I will still be getting the surgery(in two months!) but this just made me so sad to see that this is still commonly the state of care for us.
