Nah the neocons like Lindsey Graham are on the ukraine project too.
I have a feeling Trump and some republicans are against funding Ukraine publicly because they know the war is unpopular and that it's an easy way for them to get some political points agains the Dems ("Republicans are for peace, while Dems are for war" something like that). But I also believe trump would 100% fund Ukraine if he was still president.
"Antiwar" republicans are only doing so out of contrarianism to own the pro war democrats, yeah
the complicating factor is that dems are the ones primarily benefitting from the cash dumps on the Ukraine
