They forgot to mention the Daily Planet is also owned by Lex Luthor.

(I know nothing about DC comics but, that had to be a plot point at one point or another in one of their universes).

Idk, but the real life equivalent to the Daily Planet is owned by the real life equivalent of Lex Luthor.

The tv show Superman and Lois starts off with this, using the rich guy who in the comics buys the Planet and makes it Galaxy Broadcasting, and having him not let Lois publish about how his "rejuvination" schemes for the rustbelt are destroying these places further and abusing peoples desperation. So she quits and works for a Smallville paper that is literally just edited and written by one 20-something.

Lois is always great, but has to be one of the best portrayals
