depressing/doomer
This violence is only being done because it is popular. Thinking about all the people who support this, or are okay with it happening makes me doom even more then the idea of one evil person. It isn't trump, its a lot of the people in society around us. Most people support (at least some parts of) this.

It's happening because of contradictions in the mode of (re)production. The issue is not "people," it's capitalism and patriarchy. Individual and mass psychology is subordinate to that. So, try not to take it personally, and remember that by building communism, we can and will create emancipated and productive Soviet citizens out of this currently reactionary human material.
