few things have been more dissuasive to me, personally, against pursuing a normative life, than seeing and hearing how deeply unhappy and disappointed such people are with the consequences of having cultivated one for themselves.
The “model citizen” lifestyle is so fundamentally boring that the life of the so-called “undesirables” is a luxury for the rich.
Look at how high rents are in cities, look at how picky they are for job applicants. If that lifestyle was truly so bad, why is it the single most popular way to live on the planet?
I’m stuck in normieland against my will, what is there even to do except fill car with gas and apply in vain to jobs that will never get back to me?
I am aware of, like, two at most happy marriages from all the people around me that I know. Jury's still out for my peers that are just starting to get married tho.
I know of like, one couple, and their life is full of stress from all of the couples they know who are unhappy and making it everyone else's problem.
Almost all the happy couples I've seen were some flavor of LGBTQ, lol
My sibling had a seemingly ideal relationship until their spouse started sleeping with someone they worked with and tried gas lighting them into being OK with it.
And then they shame and ridicule you for not making yourself as miserable as they are.
To have no son, no wife, / No house or land still seemed quite natural.
Cliciking on that link throws a hexbear error. Likely because of the quotation marks.
Thanks for catching that. Fixed!
