I feel if I ever got into online dating I'd do alright, I can hold a conversation pretty good. When the initial dopamine rush hits I've talked to people for days at a time and not been weird or anything. I do feel I fizzle out though and just slowly stop talking though and I do worry about that if I ever get into a relationship
It's different once you're actually spending time with a person IRL. All there is online is sending messages back and forth, essentially engagement farming. IRL dating has way more options. Plus, you start sharing parts of your life with someone and you get to talk about how you each felt about experiences you've had together.
