So uh ๐Ÿ‘‰ ๐Ÿ‘ˆ anyone have any ideas for things someone wanting to try out being transfem could do (ideally without having to buy stuff, that's hard for me logistically)? I've already been shaving and liking it, I'd kinda like to try on cute clothes but :sicko-wistful: I'm just not really able to atm.

There's drug stores with self checkout so you can buy cosmetics without having to go by the cashier. Painted toenails are a nice way to feel gender euphoria that can be hidden easily from others.

If you're in a position to grow out your hair/already have long hair, then messing around with some basic styles (ponytails, basic braids, buns, etc...) is very fun.

Unfortunately beyond this and shaving body hair most femme things involve buying something.

An option for clothes that's cheap and easy to hide/pretend is for something else would be buying ribbons and learning to tie them into bows. If necessary you just untie it after you finish for the plausible deniability but they're also just really easy to hide so that wouldn't come up if that's the issue.

Get fishnets, they're dirt cheap and you can go outside wearing them (with pants covering them if you don't feel comfortable yet)

You could try voice training? I know it's been one of the most fulfilling parts of my transition! I don't have phone anxiety anymore!

I really should, I really hate it. I just hate the idea of having to listen to my own voice sadness

Also I'm a little worried I'll start using it when I shouldn't on accident. But maybe that's too far down the road for me to be concerned about.
