Is it just me or is this site getting more reddit in the bad way recently? It is getting to the point where the only reason I am staying here is the amazing trans community we have.
Not just you and the same is happening with me.
We need another purge.
Me everytime I see a post that even vaguely concerns women:
Literally just make an account on lemmygrad, the content, while it may be less in quantity, is certainly higher in quality
I feel like the lemmyverse has been that way at least for many months when suddenly so many people seemed far more concerned about an election almost a year away more than things happening in the present. Recent topics just highlighted the underlying changes more acutely imo.
If you're on hexbear, do you still see the stuff from the instances that defederate from you (ie: hexbear shows their comments, but the other instances that block hexbear don't show comments from hexbear users to their users?). Many of those instances are probably some of the worst offenders, but broader trends probably eventually filter into more instances.
