idk how much it helps coming from someone going the other way but i found that a lot of my opinions on my body pretty rapidly changed after changing my gender identity. At first, I was pretty dead set on taking the no op route but literally the morning of my first HRT appointment I suddenly had second thoughts and now I'm tossed up between an orchi and SRS. Idk how far along you are but a lot of thoughts about myself have been pretty rapidly changing in the last 3 months. I wouldn't be surprised if you felt the sameI’ve heard that the transition process can really change ones perspective on surgery and stuff which is why I keep an open mind. I don’t worry about it, but it’s very silly to have these internal contradictions. I was also very sure that I didn’t want any surgery at first lol but now I’m definitely open to it.
A few years ago when I was definitely very cis I dug into the rabbit hole of gender affirming surgery for trans men and was super fascinated by how advanced the industry is. I’m sure it was just my innocent curiosity and that it doesn’t say anything about my internally hidden desires :)
