I am having a pretty bad time doing terminology replacement for my own anatomy.I'm pretty sure "clit" is it because honestly that's what it's most like nowadays, and none of the standard issue terms dudes use or whatever work for me. But I can't really get it burned into my skull, even though I know better consciously, it's just been too long of my brain seeing 'lil nubby thing with a slit on the end and balls under' and going "bepis!" I am going to end cisnormativity.
The main reason I'm having a bad time replacing the term is 'cause I just don't think about it that much, outside of sex, because why would I? (Maybe I should, maybe I need to better internalise the chill familiarity to myself) It's annoying because I think the only part that brings me dysphoria about it is the cisnormative connotations, grrrr. Not a big secret but actually the natal transfem clitoris, the girldick, whatever you wanna call it, it's actually kinda neat.

As I've started to get more and more bothered by what's going on down there, I've started feeling less... secure in calling it a penis and I really like calling it a clit. Hoping hrt changes make me feel more comfortable calling it that.
You know this, but it is big and I'm glad you're able to work through these types of thoughts.

Yeah it's an association thing, you pretty much have to brute force the terminology out. I have to be thinking about clits more often for these purposesHey that's cool, I had a phase in my teens where I thought you couldn't call it anything else, so good stuff. I think they should help, they did me and tbh I find it like 20x funnier than it used to be, this squishy little goofy overgrowth that produces waaaaay too much fluid at the slightest notice and you have to poke with a vibrator or like, use a palm or whatever for. Very neat.
But yeah it kinda slaps honestly, I thought I might stop feeling all clear-headed and like I have a really firm grasp on all things gaysex, but I have not which feels good.
