Yeah it's good for those who don't mind the one room system. I'm just used to more rooms. Can be harder to follow conversations and such as is. Plus I don't like feeling like I'm talking over people in that kind of situation
I was thinking of making multiple channels, but from my experience it splits the conversations up and it's harder to follow and generally less activity. If there is enough votes for multiple channels we could do that though?
You can also use threads/replies although only Element supports them
Why is matrix the actual worst
Yeah the problem with following the specification is that clients implement it differently or slower, Element is the most polished one
edit: it's no different with xmpp or etc it's just that they are older
