Some of the active ones I follow

!imageai@sh.itjust.works : Ai Generated image and weekly challenge, some people are pretty creative there

!forumlibre@jlai.lu : French "free/casual chat" community, most likely not interesting for most of you, but if you know some french come

One which is semi active, and would desserve more user

!rpg@ttrpg.network : I can't imagine that so few people around here want to talk about rpg :)

Some meme communties I don't follow, but sure some of you would like-it

!196@lemmy.blahaj.zone : Lemmy's dump of old meme !rpgmemes@ttrpg.network : I am sure some of you like RPG, and like meme, even though it's a bit too much D&D meme !ich_iel@feddit.de : Some German meme, not always in proper German so not optimum if we don't know German.

!unix_surrealism@lemmy.sdf.org

This is really unique, just take a peek at it and you will see what I mean.

It's making me want to learn about Unix and other OS. Love the weird art and seemingly nonsensical content that actually has a deeper meaning. Whoever makes this stuff is super talented.

Sorry I sortof just lurk, did someone pass away or is this related to the comic storyline?

[-] accidental@lemmy.sdf.org 3 points 1 month ago

it's a storyline thing :)

[-] governorkeagan@lemdro.id 3 points 1 month ago

That was interesting

[-] kaedon@beehaw.org 16 points 1 month ago

Witchy memes is really hit or miss. I unsubbed a while ago. When it's memes about fantasy/historical witches, it's solid. But there's some subset of people who want to post memes about how being an astrology girl is great and fuck the patriarchy for not believing in Tarot.

[-] nightofmichelinstars@sopuli.xyz 5 points 1 month ago

fuck the patriarchy for not believing in Tarot.

Lol what?

[-] bionicjoey@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 month ago

You'd be amazed the number of people who agree with that take

[-] luxyr42@lemmy.dormedas.com 2 points 1 month ago

Scrolling through what is there currently, only 1 tarot related meme. Overall good lulz

[-] match@pawb.social 2 points 1 month ago

[-] xmunk@sh.itjust.works 7 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

It's niche but https://lemmy.world/c/adhd is pretty fucking sweet.

Edit per bot's comment: !adhd@lemmy.world

[-] CommunityLinkFixer@lemmings.world 1 points 1 month ago

Hi there! Looks like you linked to a Lemmy community using a URL instead of its name, which doesn't work well for people on different instances. Try fixing it like this: !adhd@lemmy.world

[-] Carighan@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

That just links to the URL, too. Weird bot. All it does is format the link.

[-] Blaze@reddthat.com 9 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

The ! link given by the bot opens the community on the instance of the viewer.

It appears the same to you as you are on the same instance as the community, but for instance in my case it opened reddthat.com/c/adhd@lemmy.world, better than the first URL

[-] Carighan@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago

Aaaaah. TYVM. That's something to know. 😄

[-] Blaze@reddthat.com 3 points 1 month ago

I ran !lemmyvision@jlai.lu which is Eurovision but for Lemmy,, it was fun ! I'm thinking of making a special Lemmyvision event in the upcoming months, but otherwise expect a second edition next year 🤗

Loved it this year! Northern Boys for the win!

[-] moosetwin@lemmy.dbzer0.com 7 points 1 month ago

FMHY, (it's why I joined this instance) and feedthememes (though unfortunately it rarely gets posts)

[-] Unmapped@lemmy.ml 3 points 1 month ago

When I joined Lemmy I was on the FMHY server, but it shutdown some reason. And when I search FMHY I can't find any active communities. I still use the website all the time though.
