Isn’t the fact that he can say that pretty much proving him wrong?

[-] Rapidcreek@lemmy.world 22 points 5 days ago

It's a fact that if he becomes the VP nominee, Kamala Harris will have a field day with him.

If Biden was a dictator, Gitmo would be full of Republicans

Stop, I can only get so erect

Of course he supports Donald "I'll be a dictator on day 1" Trump and thinks he should have immunity from crimes! You can always count on Republicans:

Gaslighting
Obstructing (progress & justice)
Projecting

Reminds me of, "Accuse the opposition of that of which you are guilty."

I TOO Remember when Biden sent his DOJ to attack Protesters so he could hold a Bible! That DICTATOR! And when he Advertised his Donors Products in the Oval Office. BIDEN THE TRAITOR!

I REMEMBER when the ILLEGITIMATE SO-CALLED "PRESIDENT" sent his JACK BOOTED THUGS to ATTACK his political opponents - TRUE AMERICANS! - all so he could VIRTUE SIGNAL!

FTFY (translated to MAGA)

^(I do think that Trump was legitimately elected, but a system that lets the person who did not win the popular vote win the election is still bullshit)^

[-] Dagwood222@lemm.ee 26 points 5 days ago

MAGoo logic at it's finest.

Say that President Trump is legally empowered to do anything, up to and including ordering domestic assassinations. Also say that Biden is a dictator when he's actually obeying the rules.

[-] BrianTheeBiscuiteer@lemmy.world 20 points 5 days ago

So Biden tried to use his execute power to forgive student loans, the SCOTUS shot it down, so now he's invoking a different law for the same ends which could still potentially be struck down. Yeah, classic dictator behavior: do whatever you want to long as your judicial system approves it. And if he was being a "dictator" on border policy (i.e. violating law) then that sounds like a great reason to impeach instead of, "His family is shady."

[-] Suavevillain@lemmy.world 12 points 5 days ago

It is coming for the base of people calling Trump the day one dictator lol. Unserious people.

I'm torn, there's public interest in what politicians say, but the only reason these fucking fascists say things like this, is for the outrage machine to kick in and repeat it through social media posts. The Republicans don't care what they're monsters spew, but they are turned on an energized by the Lefts reaction to it. I mean, I'm adding to the problem right now by commenting under a post about it, thereby increasing the "engagement" and continuing the conversation, which, in the end, as we've seen about a trillion times by now, is there only goat. The more promotional "engagement" expands the reach of their message.

Right now he's playing to an audience of Donald Trump. It's probably better if the average person hears what that sounds like.

I don't think he knows the definition
