Breadtube if it didn't suck.

Post videos you genuinely enjoy and want to share, duh. Celebrate the diversity of interests shared by chapochatters by posting a deep dive into Venetian kelp farming, I dunno. Also media criticism, bite-sized versions of left-wing theory, all the stuff you expected. But I am curious about that kelp farming thing now that you mentioned it.

Low effort / spam videos might be removed, especially weeb content.

There is a cytube that you can paste videos into and watch with whoever happens to be around. It's open submission unless there's something important to commandeer it with at the time.

A weekly watch party happens every Saturday (Sunday down under), with video nominations Saturday-Monday, voting Monday-Thursday. See the pin for whatever stage it's currently in.

This really was a landmark ad. "We will do zany bullshit to sell a product" was pretty rare before that, but felt like it totally took over for a while.

I remember a meme when that commercial came out that said: “Remember the weird kid in school whod say some nonsense phrase he found hysterical? He works in advertising now”

First comment on youtube video, 12 years ago:

The person who decided to add the line "I'm on a horse" needs to win the Nobel price for epicness.

It was a followup to the Bruce Cambell ads, and YouTube was young and new. Over the summer of 2010 they ran short response videos every day for months. There was a whole genre of parody videos.

nothing to see here coppaz! This ad caused me to break my volcel oaths! ancom-pat
