We also got a famous tv show about that (The Sopranos). Like it’s literally about a washed up mafia (glorified crew) sitting around in strip clubs or apartments and mansions, being depressed or a turncoat, and trying to be gangster in a world where you’re relegated to a consumer product at best, and living a quiet suburb life at worst.

There’s even an episode where they go back to Italy and realize the actual mob is leagues ahead and they’re more American than Italian.

Most of the actual hard enforcement stuff in the latter half of the show is literally done by an actual Italian immigrant (Furio). Unless it is internal fighting, then they will do that themselves.
