[–] AlpineSteakHouse@hexbear.net 6 points 3 months ago

Butter, that is peanut butter.

I eat like 5 tbps of the stuff a day and toast is a good way to eat it.

[–] PointAndClique@hexbear.net 6 points 3 months ago

I'm putting on either vegemite or death to gamers

[–] Cowbee@hexbear.net 5 points 3 months ago

Avocado, for a bit of bourgeois decadence.

[–] Beetle_O_Rourke@hexbear.net 5 points 3 months ago

[–] PointAndClique@hexbear.net 4 points 3 months ago (1 children)

This is a combo I've tried and can't get behind tbh :( 对不起同志 it just tasted muddled to me. Can you explain the appeal?

[–] Flyberius@hexbear.net 6 points 3 months ago (1 children)

I feel like the marmite elevates the peanut flavour.

Mind you I'm like a dog and I'd probably eat a soiled nappy

[–] PointAndClique@hexbear.net 5 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Sweetened pb or just the nutty stuff?

[–] Flyberius@hexbear.net 4 points 3 months ago

The nutty shit

[–] ClimateChangeAnxiety@hexbear.net 5 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Scrambled eggs with goat cheese, stirred constantly while cooking to get super smooth eggs, with freshly grated parmesan cheese on top

Good butter, followed by the lightest smear of marmite

Ube and bust 😋

[–] lapis@hexbear.net 3 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Where do you source your ube spread? I've bought some from Trader Joe's during their yearly ube season, but I've never seen it at any other nearby grocery stores.

[–] CarbonScored@hexbear.net 4 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Either online or oriental supermarkets, I don't see it in regular shops sadly.

[–] lapis@hexbear.net 3 points 3 months ago

Damn, that's too bad. Guess I'll have to drive across town to check the local Asian supermarket some time.

[–] OgdenTO@hexbear.net 4 points 3 months ago (2 children)

Damn, am I really the only one to put hummus on toast?

Plant butter and marmite or peanut butter and agave with seeds, or avocado
