Oh... Oh yeah.

Is it bad I forgot we are federated?

[–] take_five_seconds@hexbear.net 26 points 3 months ago (1 children)

no, it's much calmer now than it was then.

The first years of the federation wars saw the majority of casualties before the borders of the large fediverse instances stabilized and all factions settle down for prolonged trench warfare.

I always thought it was open season, but that we tended not to go all in all the time because that is just kinda sad.

All things in moderation, including moderation. Maybe it is time for a jihad?

The policy is if you want to raid you have to organize the raid. If you can get a raid party together then you're allowed.

Me? Take responsibility? blob-no-thoughts

[–] tactical_trans_karen@hexbear.net 23 points 3 months ago

Cool and good.

[–] Alaskaball@hexbear.net 22 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Uh... you give a public speech that motivates some warriors to join you on a raid then move under the cover of darkness to the enemy's camp

Handing out friendship bracelets when you get home is a critical part of warrior society.

[–] Alaskaball@hexbear.net 8 points 3 months ago

I thought having a dance party with everyone stomping on whatever captured flags we got our little piggies on was a critical part of warrior society

I'm making the policy now

"Raiding is good and you should do more of it."

  1. the target/goal has to be enticing enough to warrant time and resources and long term collaboration
  2. be funny
  3. harass them to the point of them making posts complaining about it
  4. quadruple check their dox dossier
  5. if you do swat them, pay some russian guy with monero to do it for you
  6. ideally, your collaborators have skills to spread the harassment through multiple avenues and/or connections that can spread the news so other sympathetic communities will join

I know a guy who knows a guy who knows an unassuming blind masseure in Japan...

Did somebody say raid? jb-shining

[–] keepcarrot@hexbear.net 15 points 3 months ago

Honestly, I come here for a comfy space and don't like dunking on libs or going out of my way to. I'll admit to enjoying watch other people to. Mao would be disappoint
