Thanks! But jeez, how did she ever make it into the Olympics as a boxer if you can't take a few hits? How shameful.

She had already broken her nose recently in another fight, so a few punches to the face probably hurt a lot more than they normally would.

Doesn't change the fact she's in the wrong sport and cried like a loser, and I'm not talking about the tears.

There is another video from an earlier fight of hers, where she seems to fake an injury to end a combat.

Some other data points:

  • She was personally greeted at the Olympics by Georgia Meloni, the current Italy's fascist populist far-right Prime Minister
  • The day before the combat, she tweeted asking whether it is fair for a MAN to fight a WOMAN
  • After the 46 second combat, she said to have dropped in the towel because she had "never been hit that hard", but it "wasn't for her to decide" whether that was fair
  • Then she changed the story to say she realized she wouldn't win the combat, so she'd rather stop it
  • Then claimed she didn't want to start any of the polemic

The next in the classification, a Hungarian boxer, said that she didn't care whether the Algerian was a man or a woman, and it was better for her if it was a man because she's going to feel prouder beating him... and shared this nice meme, which she later deleted:

I'm sure Khelif will handle all this nonsense, check out her history.
