Your pronouns are whatever you want it's not our business why

[–] FunkyStuff@hexbear.net 14 points 3 months ago (1 children)

It's only the business of your local registered pronoun vendor and your pronoun revenue service.

Pronoun internal affairs, we're here to investigate an illegal pronoun exchange

honestily, I have not been called "it" that much yet. users call one another lib so often, it seems to be the universal pronoun in here obama-sad (jkn)

Welcome to the group lea-happy

Your pronouns aren't it/its? Too bad, the pronoun cat has taken your other pronouns. It will now have to live with it/its.

[–] milk_thief@hexbear.net 8 points 3 months ago

thanks. (I guess)

Let's talk about milk_thief guys! What do you all think about it? Do you think its posts are good?

It seems to be a great person to me, but it's a bit tiring to always have to keep an eye on my milk when it's around.

[–] TerminalEncounter@hexbear.net 13 points 3 months ago (1 children)

How does it make you feel when we refer to you with "it"? Good, bad, nothing? If good, keep those pronouns

How does this sound "did you meet milk_thief, its so cool. I swear it's the only true socialist on this website."

[–] milk_thief@hexbear.net 12 points 3 months ago

honestily, nothing yet bc there is a distinct lack of being "it-ed" so far (usually it's "you"). This post was to egg everybody on into calling me "it" - it feels decent so far. I am getting messier with my gender-identity lately after no longer having to jump through hoops for med gatekeeping

(Hm... Seems like it wants some pronoun tryouts, but how do we find a good way to repeatedly refer to it in third person? Perhaps we could make a post at a random point in the coming week, in which we tag it and talk about it? But that would require knowing more about it, and I don't think it's that interested in talking about its interests and talents and so forth. So perhaps we could present this comment as an internal monologue about how to affirm its gender instead? Or perhaps...)

"Tmw milk_thief wants to experiment with its pronouns (this is a certified it/its moment)"

(Could we really not think of anything better to say...? Don't we remember how it made or at least posted that funny meme a month ago, or how it made that insightful comment just yesterday? Surely it deserves better than that type of silly meme. Come on, let's work our big beautiful brain cell and find a better example sentence to use for it...)

"When I'm in an it/its competition and my opponent is milk_thief (spoiler: it's winning)"

(Gyaaaah!! Can't we just say something normal, something normal, like...)

"It is an odd hexbear, but I must say, it steals a good milk."

[–] PointAndClique@hexbear.net 8 points 3 months ago

It stole my milk yesterday but then it left a note saying sorry, which, I guess is kinda considerate?
