Call Of Duty set in the korean war since they haven't milked that theater to death. FPS games are instant money printers in the west and the korean war was the last like "great" war for white people for hoo-rah rah rah propganda bullshit. Added bonus that the game would piss off the left.

Honestly, 40k games largely have the message of "being honourable bros with your fascist super soldier buddies" pretty unironically. I know that there's another history in there, but you know the drill. Also on the steam discussion page for space marine 2, I saw a thread on how to un-DEI your marines and another thread about how if you buy the game you're supporting the Russian war effort.
