Damn, everybody was Kung Fu fighting?

[–] terribletortoise@lemmy.world 37 points 4 days ago (1 children)

New Zealand was not Kung Fu fighting. As was foretold in prophecy.

[–] metaStatic@kbin.earth 12 points 4 days ago

Middle Earth didn't exist in 74

[–] hypeerror@sh.itjust.works 19 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Yeah those cats were fast as lightning.

[–] rockSlayer@lemmy.world 15 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Honestly, it was a little bit frightening

[–] ladicius@lemmy.world 11 points 4 days ago (1 children)

But they fought with expert timing!

[–] Huschke@lemmy.world 4 points 4 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago) (1 children)

Who were they and where were they from?

[–] XTL@sopuli.xyz 4 points 4 days ago

Well, there were funky China men from funky Chinatown

[–] faintwhenfree@lemmus.org 6 points 4 days ago

No the fish were not clearly kung fu fighting. It's a shame really, they'd be excellent kungfu fighters

[–] realDek4y@lemmy.world 27 points 4 days ago (3 children)

Not in New Zealand apparently

[–] kersploosh@sh.itjust.works 13 points 4 days ago (1 children)

New Zealand doesn't exist!

[–] Balthazar@lemmy.world 4 points 4 days ago

Possibly why it was a little bit frightening?

[–] _thebrain_@sh.itjust.works 4 points 4 days ago (2 children)

No. New Zealand is there. They were not kung-fu fighting. The places they were not kung-fu fight are cored white. It's just unfortunate that it is also the background color

[–] No1@aussie.zone 2 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago) (1 children)

Ahh, so the Arctic and Antarctica were also not kung-fu fighting....

[–] _thebrain_@sh.itjust.works 3 points 3 days ago

Polar bears and penguins lack the coordination for true kung fu mastery

[–] realDek4y@lemmy.world 2 points 4 days ago (2 children)

Would that mean that everybody was, in fact, not kung-fu fighting?

[–] VindictiveJudge@lemmy.world 4 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Actually, it means that not everybody was kung-fu fighting. The position of 'not' is important.

[–] realDek4y@lemmy.world 4 points 3 days ago

So at least it would be a false statement that everybody was kung-fu fighting

[–] _thebrain_@sh.itjust.works 3 points 4 days ago

Every body (in the blue area) was kung-fu fighting. The parenthetical part was removed for rhyme scheme

[–] absGeekNZ@lemmy.nz 2 points 3 days ago

I came here to say this.

We "don't exist" and we want to keep everybody believing that; don't dry to go to New Zealand, it doesn't exist.

[–] Yeller_king@reddthat.com 5 points 4 days ago (1 children)

They were, but we don't know if they still are.

[–] PeriodicallyPedantic@lemmy.ca 3 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Until we get data to the contrary, we must assume they are

[–] Yeller_king@reddthat.com 3 points 3 days ago

For sure, more research is required.

[–] SatyrSack@lemmy.one 7 points 4 days ago

Obviously, the blue part is land.

[–] southsamurai@sh.itjust.works 6 points 4 days ago

But was the lightning fast as lightening?
