Everything else aside, Javier Bardem deserves an Emmy for it. He is amazing. The dude is a Spaniard and he went so far as to use the Cuban accent of a man who's lived in an English speaking environment for 30+ years while delivering his Spanish lines. Why?!? Who is that for? That's going the extra 100 miles.

I saw the trailer for that and it looked weird and exploitative, apparently because it is.
