I just want to clarify, is this calling OP a tankie? (And if so, what am I missing)
Nothing, lemmy world thinks anyone who says democrats are not the left is a tankie. It's like maga claiming everything is woke. Neither group actually knows what that word means any more, they just know they can use it as a pejorative against outside groups.
Saying Castro is preferable to Harris is absolutely tankie bullshit logic.
Define tankie then. Because theres a necessity of genocide denial and between Castro and Harris, only one is aiding and abeding a genocide . . . but don't let facts get in the way of you dolts punching left aimlessly then wondering why you lose elections.
A tankie is someone who abandons logic and reason to shill for authoritarian left ideologies, like yourself.
For example, instead of just asking what my definition of tankie is, you felt compelled to throw in a personal attack. Tankies often rely on bad faith arguments, much like fascists. You're all "ends justify the means" / "the right color boot feels better on your neck" people.

I've been told people don't know what I would classify as since my "manifesto" revolves around government structure as opposed to ideological vision of society.
Structure as in policy, or as in the actual framework of the system? In either case, it makes you more thoughtful on politics than almost anyone you’ll see posting about the topic online.

I've got your system of government I've got a method to prevent jurisdiction shopping and I've even got tax policy and reformed laws about using legal rights for the purpose of segregative action, IE using the threat of disownment as a tool to coerce a child out of marrying a person who's gender or class or religion or ethnicity you disaprove of.

Political spectrums are relative to the state being referenced, the time being discussed, and the scope of the given conversation. They are also idiosyncratic and not only on one or two axes.
This is all, of course, too complicated for the average “politically knowledgeable” online slacktivist.
