I have a friend I exchange memes with and I can't send it to her for risk of it being interpreted romantically. Now that's an interesting little wrinkle of communication.
Having no knowledge of the situation: If a meme has a risk of being interpreted romantically, you might be in too deep already.
I've known her for over 25 years. She got married to my college roommate. For the two of us, this joke is out of bounds.

Pro tip: be careful when the video ID starts with "dQw". Only these 3 letters tell you about the video you are getting into.
I usually go with the last three. The mnemonic, "xcq, link stays blue" helps.
Surely there are other videos that start with the same ID...but they probably never get watched because everyone is like, "HA! You're not rickrolling me!"
Trust me, dude. In all of me life, I've never seen another video with a similar ID. This combination is unique. You see, them you already know what you're clicking on.
No I do have it memorized. I just haven't had to look at the links like that for awhile. Crow swooped in at the right time with thier tomfoolery.
