This one happened last week. I'm standing in front of a room full of people, probably about 100, when suddenly the sound system in the room kicks on and we hear the sound of pissing. I have to pretend like I didn't hear anything.

I'm not sure how long we're supposed to wait before we share the story, so I guess I'll wait 24 hours, or if someone guesses it I'll respond

Lemmy guess....one of the presenters was mic'd, went to the bathroom, and forgot it was hot? And/or it was the sound tech's first day on the job.

Also, maybe the story can go in spoiler tag?

Pretty much. I'm a college professor and the instructor for the course before me didnt take the mic off when he left the room, then went to the bathroom. I had just started class.

It's probably a fairly common occurrance, but last week was the first time I had ever encountered it, and I found it pretty hard to stay professional lol

PhD thesis defence, the chairman took the mic to the bathroom and forgot to turn it off.

Sound system was Bluetooth and paired with someone's headphones, while they were in the toilet.
