Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). 4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

Howard Lutnick told CNN that he believed Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who could have a position in a possible Trump administration, was right about debunked vaccine claims.

They're literally running on Bring Back Measles

Trump almost died from Covid.

Hates Covid vaccine

Trump almost shot twice.

Still hates gun control.

I'm wagering this is just pandering, not that he's actually a vaccine skeptic.

Think something like Cucker Tarlson who (while talking up how dangerous the covid vaccine was (just asking questions and such)) almost definitely got one.

[–] silence7@slrpnk.net 11 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

It doesn't matter if it's pandering or they know it's a lie if they then turn the lie into policy. The rest of us take the risk of death from it just the same

Only The Leader can be perfect.

All scientists, doctors, and college professors need to shut up and listen to the wise and practial Leader.

They count on you using your energy to do that math for them - why do you need to? Just don't.

Why not just believe him. He's a fucking idiot, who (at best) doesn't have a firm, established position on a key, fundamental part of human life into his 60s. That's not a serious person, it's an ignorant person at best, someone who will shift on major positions in exchange for power at worst - either way he shouldn't be within the proximity of power.

He does not hate gun control. He talks like he does, but is more of a gun grabber than Obama was.

Liking guns comes second to hypocrisy in modern conservative ideology.

He's the only US president to ever support a full gun ban.

"Take the guns and figure out due process later"

[–] Dagwood222@lemm.ee 5 points 2 weeks ago

The Texas State Fair wanted to have a gun free event. Politicians instantly attacked that unAmerican behavior.

Same pols had no problem with their events being gun free.

They’ll literally blame Democrats for mishandling diseases when they start killing peoples again.

[–] SarcasticMan@lemmy.world 14 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Wouldn't it be swell if this was the timeline where super-sentient brain parasites took over RFK and he then infected the entire Trump Campaign who in turn infected the Republican and Democrat Parties ultimately leading to the earth being run by mid-level brain parasite bureaucrats who just keep going like nothing has changed running for reelection in their host body until eventually it reaches retirement age moves to Florida?

[–] jj4211@lemmy.world 5 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

until eventually it reaches retirement age

They mostly reached retirement age years ago.

[–] SarcasticMan@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago

My idea was the body dies and the brain parasite retires to Florida lol.

[–] MyOpinion@lemm.ee 12 points 2 weeks ago

Morons helping morons. Two peas in a pod.

[–] AbouBenAdhem@lemmy.world 9 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

So the brain worms are transmissible?

[–] silence7@slrpnk.net 4 points 2 weeks ago

It usually takes eating an infected animal. They might have shared roadkill, but I don't think that Howard Lutnick ate part of RFK Jr.

[–] TransplantedSconie@lemm.ee 9 points 2 weeks ago

24 hours from this headline:

"I do not know this man. He was invited to speak by a low ranking individual. He does not reflect the beliefs of this campaign or Former President Trump."

[–] CitizenKong@lemmy.world 7 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

The keyword here is "converted". They are treating science like a religion. Well, joke's on them, unlike god scientific facts will smite them.

[–] cabron_offsets@lemmy.world 5 points 2 weeks ago

These guys are mentally defective. Like nearly all republicans.

Russias psy-op plan is working.

[–] jaggedrobotpubes@lemmy.world 5 points 2 weeks ago

Anti-vaxxers are worse than nazis. At least nazis stop actively fucking up the world for 24 hours when they take a day off.

[–] tehn00bi@lemmy.world 5 points 2 weeks ago

Dang, glad I was born soon after the vaccine came into existence. Probably saved my life.

[–] MehBlah@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago
