Capitalism in Decay

Fascism is capitalism in decay. As with anticommunism in general, the ruling class has oversimplified this phenomenon to the point of absurdity and teaches but a small fraction of its history. This is the spot for getting a serious understanding of it (from a more proletarian perspective) and collecting the facts that contemporary anticommunists are unlikely to discuss.

Posts should be relevant to either fascism or neofascism, otherwise they belong in !latestagecapitalism@lemmygrad.ml. If you are unsure if the subject matter is related to either, share it there instead. Off‐topic posts shall be removed.

No capitalist apologia or other anticommunism. No bigotry, including racism, misogyny, ableism, heterosexism, or xenophobia. Be respectful. This is a safe space where all comrades should feel welcome.

For our purposes, we consider early Shōwa Japan to be capitalism in decay.

Jesus Christ

I know they do this every time but my God is it revolting. And they're somehow surprised that we don't vote for their people? We are poles apart

Libs before the election: "We must stop Trump because he will hurt minorities and the marginalised! 😱"

Libs after the election: "Now that Trump won it's time to hurt minorities and the marginalised! 👹"

Must feel cathartic to finally take off the mask

They'll just direct their anger at the vulnerable and blame the mexicans and black men... you know, because they are the opposite of republicans.

I have seen people trying to organise boycotts against Muslim owned businesses in retaliation for maybe not voting for Harris.

And they want us to believe they are totally the caring non-racist side.

unironically quoting a nazi who goes on to massacre a jewish family is peak “scratch a liberal and a fascist bleeds”

To me both comments sound ironic, though that may be because I'm still an optimist.

Wild how it's a binary choice between doing civility politics and being a Gestapo

[–] multitotal@lemmygrad.ml 22 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

It seems like those people want to be racist, they just wait for a convenient excuse and social approval to do it. It's very telling. Imagine if real Nazis were actually elected, all those libs would be like "Oh you chose the Nazis? Well I'm gonna out-Nazi the Nazis so you get what you voted for!"

Was the other party gonna give them free healthcare and abolish documentation requirements for immigrants?

joker-stare

These people never cared about the disadvantaged. It's all a performative holier-than-thou veneer easily broken to reveal the reactionary underneath.

Scratch something, something something... kill me.

The thing that pisses me off about these hashtag girlboss k-hives stans is their deep-seated unseriousness. They do not mean anything they say other than "orange man bad" and "vote blue no matter who." The MOMENT the rubber hits the road, they will sell other people's rights for the impression of their own interests being safeguarded. They will make a bunch of noise about racial justice, no human is illegal, et cetera, but the instant they feel Mexicans aren't useful anymore, they drop all pretense and go right to the Final Solution. What the fuck?

Not even report undocumented people who voted for Trump, report innocent people for the crime of being related to somebody who voted for Trump.

[–] landlords_morghulis@lemmygrad.ml 21 points 1 week ago (1 children)

"If the republicans won't deport Mexican families, I WILL"

Says a lot about their confidence in Trump actually doing the same. Shit is always projection, isn't it...

[–] Mzuark@lemmygrad.ml 14 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Which means Project 2025 was actually a liberal agenda

[–] landlords_morghulis@lemmygrad.ml 13 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I read Project 2025 as both a scare tactic and continuation of existing policy. If so, then yeah, it only exists in the media as a whip to get voters to show up for them. There was no material policy opposition.

[–] Mzuark@lemmygrad.ml 10 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) (2 children)

All the research I've done on Project 2025 has led me to the conclusion that it doesn't exist. Not because people aren't trying to push these things but because as the policy exists I can't imagine who benefits from it. Ban social security, medicaid and AFC and all you have are a bunch of pissed off poor and old people. Federally ban abortion and all kinds of maternity benefits, then the situation doesn't really change, and then some of the shit is just frivilous. A porn ban? A video game ban? There'll be riots in the streets.

[–] DamarcusArt@lemmygrad.ml 11 points 1 week ago (1 children)

It really is absurd, it's just "evil for evil's sake" saturday morning cartoon villainy. I'm sure most republicans want to get rid of basic human rights as much as possible, but they do so because they profit off of it, not because they just like being evil. I guess it is the end result of Marvel movie brain and its consequences.

[–] Mzuark@lemmygrad.ml 9 points 1 week ago

That's all I'm getting at. Even the most evil political decisions have some kind of monetary gain behind them, there's no money in civil unrest.

Biden has always been against abortion, social security and all semblance of state welfare programs, so nothing new there.

I do support the porn and video game ban, though as part of a larger grass-touching program. Any accelerationism that comes out of that is a bonus. ; )

[–] Jonathan12345@lemmygrad.ml 18 points 1 week ago (1 children)

So... they hate the republicans for what they'll do to people so they want to punish those people by doing things republicans want to do to them? What level of football hooligan politics is this?

Just libruls scratching themselves.

[–] proceduralnightshade@lemmy.ml 17 points 1 week ago

"Don't hate the game, hate the player" or smt

also what the fuck

In the first place, do they seriously think that the election of Trump will cause a disaster. Donald Trump is less evil in real life compared to the Liberal fake news depiction. At least, Trump could not possible be more evil than the previous presidents in US history. Even is Trump fit his evil depiction in the fake news of metropolitan elites, the check of power and evil villainous schemers in the government ensures that Trump could only direct his evil acts towards the marginalized groups like the Indigenous First Nation people or refugees from wars and repressive governments that Pax Americana supported.

The indication of the rise of Fascist uprising followed the widespread leaks of evidences of unspeakable altrocities like the fake school Holocaust in the European colonies and countries of British diaspora that the European emigrants ignored due to bribery by the disciples of the anti-Christ. Is there any neglected persecution of ethnic minority that will foreshadow horrible events after the election of Donald Trump other than the continued land thief of Indigenous people to create "natural parks" or the continued concentration camps with planned chemical attacks, planned starvation, and planned attacks by white rapists?
