Breadtube if it didn't suck.

Post videos you genuinely enjoy and want to share, duh. Celebrate the diversity of interests shared by chapochatters by posting a deep dive into Venetian kelp farming, I dunno. Also media criticism, bite-sized versions of left-wing theory, all the stuff you expected. But I am curious about that kelp farming thing now that you mentioned it.

Low effort / spam videos might be removed, especially weeb content.

There is a cytube that you can paste videos into and watch with whoever happens to be around. It's open submission unless there's something important to commandeer it with at the time.

A weekly watch party happens every Saturday (Sunday down under), with video nominations Saturday-Monday, voting Monday-Thursday. See the pin for whatever stage it's currently in.

Watch the incredible instinct to build a dam, even though it’s never seen it’s parents build one.

let-em-cook No, let him cook.

Bonus Video

Baby beaver goes out for a swim without permission and gets busted by mom.

If capybaras are the largest rodent then beavers must be a close second.

I'm unsure how I feel about raising a beaver indoors. I actually don't know what's best for him.

I do worry about people seeing this video and deciding that they want to raise a beaver, so they buy it.

I know someone that wanted a sugar glider, so they got a male and female Fast forward a few months, and there were over a dozen in their home. Ya those sugar gliders all got euthanized.

Definitely a rescue because it's damn near impossible to get a native wild animal ownership permit pretty much anywhere beavers naturally occur

The bonus video seems to be set in some kind of animal sanctuary. I don't know if it's permitted, but it does look like good, professional husbandry.

I don't think you can buy a beaver at the pet store.

I have no context for the video so I can't speak for this beaver's treatment. I don't know if it lives in that house or what.

Pets (especially exotics) should never be bought or adopted on an impulse.
