Oh i remeber the GLA ! It was such a well designed rebel faction , and it precursed VIEB and Tunnels in a way one has to really respect in Hindsight.
They even had sucide Bombers which is why they had to censor the game in germany and replace them with suicide drones..
and the "Armed Mob" ! and you could upgrade up the Mob with Ak's and Molotov cocktails.

Reminds me of reading/listening about the experience of YPG volunteers from abroad where they explained that you had to purchase your own gear and weapons from the black markets so most of them were fighting ISIS in flip flops and trainers.

It's the GLA logo for the cancelled Generals 2 Game. In that game they were actually Global and had agents from Russia, Europe and Latin America
One part of me is sad it never got a sequel but like omg it was soooo racist lmao.
