Even ignoring the massive “raw number versus percentage” problem, her raw total dropped off by more than 6 million from Biden in 2020. There’s no amount of lipstick that can be put on that pig.
Probably like 95% of their votes are already baked in through pure inertia, it's possible she could have run no campaign at all and landed roughly where she did.

She did tell anti-genocide protestors to shut up and also said, "Actually, I love fracking!"
She also told trans people, "I love laws", while her supporters were going around telling them that Trump was going to pass laws to round them up and put them into camps.
"I will wave goodbye when they put you in the caddlecar" wasn't the winning campaign message they thought it was.

Probably would have done better if she had done nothing.
Hell they'd make successful decisions then immediately reverse when they were shown to be good ones only to go full warmonger.
No. She ran a campaign. She was all over social media. She had commercials. She was doing rallies. She was pretty active.
In a way that was the problem because she was not giving the speeches and answering the questions that motivated people to vote for her. Her inability to move even a fraction left on some key issues just gave more fuel to the dumpster fire of apathy and resentment that the Democrats keep perpetually burning and really ended up suppressing turnout. People would rather stand alone in the cold than huddle around it anymore.
Nope, she tried her damnedest to run her election into the ground and still managed to get 63 million votes.
A paper bag with a smiley face drawn on it would probably have received the same number of votes.

I like how they say that as if the democratic ticket, regardless of candidate, wasn't being relentlessly pushed for 9 months. If anything the switch itself generated more buzz and interested about the campaign than any other action.

The campaign ended right as it was starting to plummet. In all likelihood, with a full 7 months, she would have done even worse.

In a democracy with a rising population you should hope for every election to have a higher turnout than the previous election.
Having a lower turnout should mean your democracy isn't very democratic.
We need some kind of tech where anyone who posts about an election that is more than 3 years away instantly receives an electric shock from their computer. It should increase in intensity with every infraction all the way up to death because I can't fucking take this shit dawg omg just shut the fuck up we haven't even inaugurated the guy from the last election yet

There where states that had down-ticket Dems with more votes than her. Like people voted straight democrat except Kamala. This is a clear cut example of a bad candidate.
Really makes me think there might be something to the idea that Dems lose on purpose because it's better for fundraising
