This is not that much different than Jen Psaki headlining MSNBC while Biden was prez. They literally had his former Press secretary as a news anchor.

They both show how much of a joke cable news is, but at some people hate their in-laws. One can argue Lara Trump is less damaging because it is highly possible that Lara is an incompetent nepobaby hire. MSNBC on the other hand, hired media trained, professional liar, literal former spokeperson of the sitting President to do their news. Jen Psaki is much more damaging.
