Edit: So I tried doing what I always do when I see one of these outrage farming video titles saying the woke games media is having a "meltdown" and tried to find evidence of said meltdown, and... yeah, couldn't find any. Some early access reviews have criticised the character editor for lack of gender and body customisation options but nothing that would qualify as a massive backlash

So I'm not a video game type but I know a few girlies who were excited for this one and were really disappointed that there are no gay NPCs. So you can make your character gay in the character creator, but if you do then you have no one to date because every NPC is straight. They're not outraged or anything, they just went back to the Sims lol.

It gives you the option to try and romance everyone, but they all reject it outside of hetero. When you first encounter an zoi of the same sex, there is a romance bar shown, it just never fills up. Seems like something that's supposed to be there, but they haven't committed.

I wish I remembered the youtuber but it reminds me of his video about the "outrage" to the one doom sequel and it turns out all the outrage was one person with like 5 retweets mildly annoyed with something. It's what these outrage farmers do they just manufacture wholescale controversies real people don't give a shit about to sell bluechew advertisements.

Pretty sure that was Shaun. The thesis of his video IIRC was that, in the absence of evidence of people getting mad about video games, the post-gamergaters have simply invented a load of people in their heads.
