Liberals giving it all they can.

Despite my better efforts, I got on Reddit today. I got into an argument with someone over their perceived lack of professionalism on the part of Noem.

Her lack of professionalism. Her lack of motherfucking professionalism.

That's all that liberal voter has issue with. Was her lack of professionalism over the whole thing.

I had to wrap my arms around my head to keep it from fucking exploding. It's so hard not to be a misanthrope sometimes. jfc.

Her lack of professionalism.

That's a take I didn't see at Bluesky. They are pissed. But - of course - they live in a different reality. There's a lib guy at Bluesky called Law Dork. I'm not making that up. He calls himself that. Today, he posted about the California National Guard and an order involving Trump. And he posted an image of a legal filing that - of course - I didn't read. Non-lawyers won't read that shit even if it's txt. So I asked him...

Trump will ignore the order. Then what?

And he blocked me. I actually laughed when I realized that. He could have just muted me. But he was a Law Dick. I can never see any of his threads at all. I guess he thinks the law is so special and so rarified that small brains (non-lawyers) need to stay out of his threads. But all he needed to do was provide a link to a news article that - of course - is written for non-lawyers. It's extra effort but he wants people to pay to read his Substack. Being helpful might get more paying readers. Instead he wants to be an elitist lib asshole.

Libs will say "We need to be united to fight Trump". But then have an attitude like Law Dick. For them it's "My way or the highway."

Edit

Appeals court temporarily blocks federal judge's ruling to return control of National Guard to California.

The majority of judges are Trump appointees. Shocker! Who couldda seen that comin'?

Oh my God, you guys, there was a legal filing!! Trump won't get away with it this time! We got him!

If AI actually worked and I could hook it up to Bluesky - I'd say "AI, block all posts with the word judge that involve Trump." Legal stuff with Trump is always variations on a theme...

  1. A judge ordered the Trump administration to...

  2. An appeals court emergency ruling blocked the judge's order.

---

But this is my all time fave...

  1. A judge ordered the Trump administration to...

  2. Trump ignored her. The end.

It's like a two panel cartoon strip that's always predictable but always very funny.

I ranted to a friend recently how a lot of people seem to not be upset at the injustice but the fact the injustice is destabilizing.

[–] Nakoichi@hexbear.net 12 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Maybe if your stability relies on fascism it sucks?

[–] MizuTama@hexbear.net 7 points 3 weeks ago

No see, it will all go away if you just vote for the correct type of fascism!

It's very hard to go back to brunch if the rule of law is breaking down.
