our new feature! now YOU can be the person with your hand on the racism dial!

I could almost see selling this as AI product. Take a daily news feed and let the Slopatron 7000^TM^ rewrite it with your prrferred slant and bias. Never risk a writer going off message again!

The Plus service tier also adds "Hamas-run" in front of the name of any organization you wish to discredit, including political challengers, labour unions, punk bands, and the San Antonio Spurs.

Fairness is when you find a balance between rounding up migrants in camps and showing concern for the attrocities done by both sides during WW2

i like that the default needle position is so unfair left leaning that its off the scale. i thought that was what ppl were actually voting but they just can't be bothered to get it to actually show that

It's such a ridiculous premise, just terminal lib brain

I actually think you could effectively destroy any online left wing community by getting them to implement one of these on people's profiles.

It's such a complete capitulation to the idea that journalism should be both side of anything. Fuckin dystopia

Almost certainly to be used by the ownership/management to say "see, you're a bunch of radical Marxists according to the readership, new editorial policies, any article that scores less than 110% on the hitler-meter will need to be redone for fairness".

The crescent doesn't horseshoe back in on itself this is contrary to theory

TBH they probably don't care about some magical center, and this feature most likely functions as a political survey of their readership.

I resent the implication that I cannot be unfair without leaning left or right. What if I want to redistribute all the wealth alphabetically while maintaining current levels of wealth inequality?

Literally my entire worldview can be boiled down to “bias is for the lazy and the weak-minded. Want any social capital whatsoever? Earn it.” but somehow this is seen as too unfair to the people who think bias is good, actually.

The political compass is de-evolving from 2D to 1D

I didn't expect to see the Fark.com political balance dial pop up with a new job
