Right I forgot about all those wars the US has won over the last 75 years

[–] GrouchyGrouse@hexbear.net 39 points 5 days ago

They knew strategic bombing didn’t work by the time Germany surrendered. They had twice the proof when Japan folded. Still tried it in Korea. Still tried it in Vietnam. Our Israeli acolytes are trying it in Gaza.

But it does kill people so good enough for these guys. The guys who don’t win wars.

I ask these NATOids, who is test flying 2+ 6th Generation Fighter jets? The closest to a 6th gen fighter that NATO has is American CG rendering.

Chinese "Copy" of Israeli Lavi (it wasn't a copy but NATOids like to claim this) J-10CE shot down, not just 1 but 3 French Rafale fighter jets. The French Rafale is considered top of the line in NATO fighter jets, just behind 5th gen fighter, whereas China's J-10C isn't even their top fighter, it's their mid tier plane that China will phase out soon.

Let the crumbling empire continue their delusion of superiority, it'll just be a lot more funny when it comes crumbling down.

Where can I learn more about the Fr*nch jets being downed?

I found a YouTube link in your comment. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:

I'm so glad that all the Dulles's and Bush Srs of the world have died off. The ruthlessly competent imperialists of the cold war are gone and now the hateful chauvinism they helped foster has, for the most part, only the bodies of red-faced adult children through which to act, the various Kashes Patel and Hegs Seth.

[–] miz@hexbear.net 15 points 5 days ago

Kashes Patel

Attorneys Generaling this guy's name is chefs-kiss

[–] TheBroodian@hexbear.net 15 points 5 days ago

Every indication is that you're spot on about this. The drivers behind the wheel of empire are all failsons who earnestly believe that they arrived where they're at through their own competencies - despite how absolutely fucking dull they are

[–] bennieandthez@lemmygrad.ml 12 points 5 days ago

paraphrasing that chinese saying that goes "back then we had a technological disadvantage but an iron will, now pray you have an iron will".

[–] prole@hexbear.net 45 points 5 days ago (2 children)

I like how this guy with literally no experience in international relations or military strategy or really anything even tangentially related to this kind of topic is taken seriously. He never won an election (not even a primary), was basically a low level corporate lawyer and business owner, and Bush made him the US attorney for a district in Iowa. Now he's the US ambassador to NATO because uh...he licked the right boots?

The GOP is fucking flooded with war criminals, at least put one of them in charge of this kind of shit

[–] TrustedFeline@hexbear.net 23 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Now he's the US ambassador to NATO because uh...he licked the right boots?

tbf, that's how every ambassadorship works out

[–] Cruxifux@feddit.nl 15 points 5 days ago

Yeah I was gonna say, ambassadors are usually given those jobs by their friends in the government just for funzies.

[–] plinky@hexbear.net 18 points 5 days ago (1 children)

at least put one of them in charge of this kind of shit

why? empire should be ruled by grifters and drunks

[–] prole@hexbear.net 18 points 5 days ago

I don't mean it as "they should do this because it's cool and good"

I mean it as "they won't even use the experts they have" and I find that funny. They have people who have spent their entire lives learning how to do these things and instead pick some random chud because he's more loyal

[–] ShimmeringKoi@hexbear.net 45 points 5 days ago

China copied a lot of stuff but vast majority of them from Ussr/Russia. Putin is mildly disappointed but still allows it. I think they start to design their own too. Also West really likes to overestimate how hard it is to design (not saying it is easy) and how easy it is to manufacture

[–] Rom@hexbear.net 22 points 5 days ago

Yeah it turns out having an educated workforce really helps with designing new things

[–] Ram_The_Manparts@hexbear.net 15 points 5 days ago

I mean, copying things that work is a smart thing to do.

If you're gonna learn how to play guitar it's not a great idea to start with trying to invent your own chords.

[–] BodyBySisyphus@hexbear.net 28 points 5 days ago

Thereby tacitly admitting that NATO military equipment does not work.

[–] ClathrateG@hexbear.net 25 points 5 days ago (1 children)

gunpowder and solid fuel rockets were invented in China

[–] jack@hexbear.net 2 points 5 days ago (1 children)

how can that be true if I'm racist?

[–] FlakesBongler@hexbear.net 29 points 5 days ago

Spooked them so bad they couldn't even pull the big lie of all that stuff being non-functional or inferior somehow

[–] plinky@hexbear.net 27 points 5 days ago (1 children)

China should make icbm printer tbh

[–] FlakesBongler@hexbear.net 22 points 5 days ago (1 children)

I could definitely do some cool things with some ballistic missiles

I'm sorry your toilet paper was damaged on receipt, but you did sign up for the airburst delivery option which deploys at 500m

This copium, while of high quality, is actually subpar by Burgerlander standards. The real good shit is the copium that the entire parade is AI.

[–] CrawlMarks@hexbear.net 18 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago) (1 children)

I was watching a video and China is making a sniper rifle that shoots grenades. Imagine getting a high explosive grenade put though a your windows half a komwter away. We can't make it cost effective so we gave up on the tech

[–] miz@hexbear.net 6 points 5 days ago

maybe I'm wrong but I think I've seen Palestinian resistance do this with TBGs

Wrongest person in the world award

[–] grandepequeno@hexbear.net 15 points 5 days ago

Even if that were true, like, so what? If they can understand it, build it, maintain it and use it you're still smoked

[–] AF_R@hexbear.net 9 points 5 days ago

Look I know the world is objectively going to shit and we are in the middle of an unstoppable ecological, cultural, societal, and economic collapse but can you even fucking imagine how funny it’s going to be when they actually go hot with China and the entire U.S. Pacific Fleet gets annihilated by missiles and drones in one day

[–] Damarcusart@hexbear.net 6 points 5 days ago (1 children)

I expect the average CHUD to think like this, but actual US officials? That's actually scary, because it means they will attack China thinking they can win easily, and when it turns out that China's military isn't just all faked, they won't know what to do, and might react by just nuking everyone.

[–] jack@hexbear.net 2 points 5 days ago

This is an ambassador, not a military official.
