I deleted my 12+ year account and haven’t looked back. I kind of like the smaller community here, reminds me of the old Reddit days. Looking forward to watching the community grow.

I haven’t deleted my Reddit account and I no longer go to Reddit. I’ve moved on. That’s it.

I deleted all my comments and posts but kept my account in case reddit undeletes anything. Also to keep my saved stuff and messages. I don't feel like it matters if I keep my account or not since I'm not using the site anymore

Lemmy has fully replaced Reddit for my casual scrolling needs. But for research purposes for things like buying advice, tech support, etc I still find myself at Reddit. Lemmy may get there someday, but it's not there yet.

I didn't delete my account because I hate permanently removing information from the internet. I get annoyed when links are dead or information is lost. I understand why others are doing it, but I can't help but be sad at all the information we've lost and I won't contribute to that.

Theres a couple of subs that I still like to visit that haven’t really migrated here (BlackPeopleTwitter, TikTokCringe, etc). But that’s only while old Reddit still works haha

I go for 2 things.

A sports team I support. There's a community here on lemmy which I do post in but it's like 3 of use here haha. Until it picks up I need to get team news somewhere.

Ukraine war daily thread. This is too important to ignore but I am trying to find other sources. Started using mastodon to follow some war commenters.

I feel dirty doing so though.

I didn't migrate in protest, I just came here because this community picked up pace, an my access to Reddit got limited when RIF stopped working.

I still have a Twitter account that I never use. And an Instagram account. And a few more that didn't work out.

Only thing I still use it for is the NFL sub. Unfortunately it's still one of the best places for sports news.

The NFL subreddit had been getting steadily worse for years, but it's still one of the best places for NFL discussion.

Only to check if the data from my GDPR request is available yet.

I deleted my account after a week when I found out Sync for reddit was done for. I am now waiting for Sync for Lemmy. I only use reddit when it gives me a result in Google search. So far I am loving Lemmy and Mastadon. I thought about looking at Pixelfed. Even if my friends/family don't use it.

There are niche communities that haven't migrated that I'm okay with using a crappy platform to stay in contact with. That being said I've been using teddit until I need to post.

Nope, I don't use it. I figure maybe I can tell someone about Lemmy in the future though which is why I keep it around.

I keep my account because I plan to dump some saved posts. But I didn't have time to do so yet.

Didn't delete, but used a script to edit all of my comments with a link to kbin. Might as well use my account for good and help out with kbin's SEO

I technically have Reddit fully working with Apollo with my API key but I seldom visit it other than modding my uni sub once in a blue moon.

I sometimes check if my deleted comments are back, and I delete them again. I'll probably delete my account once I'm sure my comments are gone for good.

Didn’t bother deleting my account…I also don’t bother going there anymore (every since Apollo died).

I just use a mirror to lurk, but lately just one subreddit hasn't really moved much, and it was the main way I was able to get information for them as it's otherwise scattered across Twitter and Youtube with a lot of Japanese information.

Mostly for the odd Windows 11 troubleshooting because the Windows support world is the most bloated shit ever. So many solutions that solve fuck all.

There are a few cannabis communities I'm involved with there I haven't found elsewhere. Specifically the one discussing mail order cannabis options here in Canada. There's so much to chose from, it's nice to be part of an active community where we all try things and post about it.

Yes, some of the posts on r/TrueOffMyChest and r/Advice are wild, and can't get anything like that here, yet.

I will visit the site because there is too much good information to ignore. Using Libreddit and hoping that Reddit doesn't kill that service.
