I knew that isn't how they worked, but I didn't learn about how engines work until I was 26 by watching YouTube videos. America is fucked

I earned my flight instructor certificate at 22 years old. I thought I had a pretty good idea as to how planes fly.

I went to mechanic school when I was 26, and now I haven't the foggiest idea how airplanes don't just fall the fuck apart.
